Mark 12:28-30 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
ONE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST IS TO …… YE SHALL BE WITNESSES UNTO ME …. IN JERUSALEM, JUDEA, SAMARIA, UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH.

THE END OF THE LAW ... IS A PERSON, …. NOT A NEW LAW.
THE END OF THE LAW IS A HIM, JESUS, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST !
If Christ is the end of the Old Testament Law, the end of the law is Christ, a person, the revelation of the everlasting father, the revelation of the mighty God, … a relationship… not the beginning of another new law similar to the old law. The law of Christianity ??
In Christianity there is Christian Law. … Catholic Law, Orthodox Law, Episcapalian Law, Lutheran Law, Methodist Law, Baptist Law, Nazarene Law, Church of Christ Law, Pentecostal Law, Trinitarian Law, Oneness Law, Apostolic Law … and on it goes.
Christ is the law. Christ in you is the law.
The End of the Law has become a relationship with the Living Law, The Living Word of God, rather than merely another upgraded written law ….
Remember, the True Word of God is Spirit & it is Life … it is the person of Jesus Christ, beyond the Old Testament religion of Judaism. Jesus came not to re-model, or renovate nor upgrade the Old Testamet. He came to End or Fulfill or Finish it’s Time of Usefullness. Jesus came to end it, to nail it to His Cross. Not to destroy it, but to end it’s jurisdiction.
The 1st Old Testament, at it’s best, was a ministration of death. It never could bring life. It was our school master until Christ came. It was not evil, anymore than any early teacher is or was evil. It was all it was suppose to be and all that it could be.
Life by the Holy Ghost Spirit in Christ Jesus is a complete change, … not an upgrade.
A relationship with the written Word, which was glorious in the Old Testament, was a ministration of death. This new relationship of the New Testament with the Living Spirit Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ is completely different. A birth from Above. It is the Spirit of Life. A ministration of life.
A relationship with the person of God in Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost, rather than a relationship with another 600 +/- laws, or another written code. The new covenant is all by the Spirit.
A relationship with a person, a personality, another nature beyond the human nature, … The Christ Jesus Nature. We are partakers of the divine nature by the in-dwelling of the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of HIS Son, The Spirit of Christ, The Holy Ghost. …. Christ in You the Hope of Glory.
Our life in Christ is not by LAW. It is by Faith in Christ. He is the Grace of God. He is the Truth of God.
Some might say …. But there are standards. Yes, there are standards. Which standards?
Which denominational, which organizational, which movement, which standards ??
It is surprising to note that most Christian rules and by-laws which Christian institutions and movement hold to were never articulated by the apostles nor by Christ in the same manner as they are spelled out in their handbooks, charters, and by-laws. This is not to say they are not without merit, nor wisdom. Yet, they become another law. They become something less than a relationship with Christ. Law was never relationship, nor can it ever be.
Yes, there is a standard. That standard is Christ. Follow me as I follow Christ, the minister said.
Christ is the standard. Christ is the Method. Christ is the How. Christ is the Why. Christ is the Order. Christ is the Model. Christ is the Mold. Christ is the Measure to which we are being conformed.
Christ is the standard, not some Christian churches Law. He is the measure that all is measured by.
Christ is the Gold Standard!
Christ is portrayed as this Gold Standard throughout the Tabernacle & Temple. An ark with rings, staves, cherubims and mercy seat of pure gold.
Christ is portrayed as the Gold Standard in the temple vessels, dishes, spoons, and candlestick of pure gold.
Flesh can never measure up to God’s Standard. Flesh never could. Flesh never can.
Only one can. Only one has. The Lord Jesus Christ, the only perfect sacrifice, without sin, without spot. The Only one God has said,…. In whom I am well pleased.
All of men and women’s self-righteousness is as a filthy cloth, a filthy rag, … a woman’s mentruous cloth.
Paul, knew what it was to live under the O.T. by holding to THE LAW of commandments. Under the OT, righteousness was holding to the external written commandments of the law.
According to the Talmud there are 613 mitzvot ("commandments") in the Torah, positive and negative.
Paul understood this type of life and walk with God. He lived it.
But, Paul, also knew what it was to live under the N.T. by holding to CHRIST Alone.
Thus it is no longer I that is living … It is Christ in Me.
A righteousness that comes by Faith in Christ Jesus, rather righteousness that comes by keeping law.
Yet Christianity has created another law. A New Testament LAW …… Catholic Law, Protestant Law, , Trintiarian Law, Baptist Law, Nazarene Law, Pentecostal Law, Charismatice Law, Apostolic Law, Oneness Law, UPC law, ALJC law, Your Movement’s Law, Your Fellowship’s Law, Your Denomination’s Law. This is not said to hurt, but to inform and bring understanding. Whose Law am I living by??
TO CHANGE FROM LAW TO GRACE …..
Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ro 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Some might say … Then there is no more law… no rule…. No standards… Yes. That’s Right !Yes. It’s a Gold Standard. It’s the Christ Standard.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
